Layout Manager v1.1
This tool automates the tedious process of creating, naming, and setting up AutoCAD Layout tabs based on your Model Space geometry. Follow the technical guide below for setup and generation.
🛠1. The Setup
- Layer Name: Use _EP_LAYOUTSETUP (Fixed name for stability).
- Frames: Must be LWPolylines on the setup layer.
- Color Picker: Choose a visual theme for the layer and page numbers.
🖋 2. Text Styling
- The Pick Rule: Select an existing text object to "borrow" its Font, Height, and Style.
- Memory: The tool remembers your choice for the duration of the drawing.
🔢 3. Numbering
- Click Apply Numbering and click inside your frames.
- The number defines both the Layout Tab Name and its Numerical Order.
🚀 4. Generation
- Template: Rename your first layout (with title block) to "1".
- Auto-Clone: Tool clones Layout "1", zooms to frame, and locks viewports.
- VPO: Run Viewport Optimization scripts directly from the manager.
